Whassup! To all of those who know me and for those who don’t know me, It is a pleasure to introduce myself. My Name is Harold Thompkins also known as “Harold Tee.” I am a Christian, husband, father, writer, minister, multipreneur, idea specialist and idea master. I am a recovering professional report reader and meeting attendee with high hopes and dreams. I have been involved in business for over fifteen (15) years I have failed in some very successful companies and I have exceeded in several companies that failed.
I would like to tell you that all the ups and down in business took its toll on me over the years but the internet has helped me resurrect and transform as an entrepreneur.
I am building an awesome internet based company geared toward helping dreamers and visionaries take their ideas from thought to execution to reality with the intent to build enterprise that produce revenue. This company is a result of finally recognizing the importance of people’s ideas in terms of personal success. Humans are the only living beings who can produce ideas and every idea has value. Throughout my life I have allowed people and situations influence me not to pursue and explore my ideas. Therefore I was constantly connecting to every hype filled advertisement, the next secret system, ground floor opportunity and new trend. I was searching outside myself for my breakthrough neglecting the fact that my ideas were my avenue to where I needed to be and where I wanted to go. I felt that if I could find the right opportunity I could become successful, rich and fulfill my dreams. Each time I did this I became more ordinary in my thinking which caused me to override the extraordinary ideas that were raging inside me. As a result I became disconnected from my true nature which led to me looking for an easy way to the life I desired. I became responsive to the pitches that said do no work, no meetings, no investment, no recruiting. Why? I developed a comfort zone and a fantasy mentality because I was not true to the ideas inside of me.
Ironically I never reached the level of success promised to me and honestly never felt totally confident in these opportunities therefore I conveyed a sense of deception when I shared this so called life changing opportunity with others. Because I was trying to achieve something through concepts that were superficial and selfish because I was attracted to it for the wrong reasons rather than the opportunity being a result of our personal ideas. Let me pause here to say you can achieve a level of success based on the ideas of others but when you put more emphasis on these ideas you limit your success because you don’t believe in your own ideas. How can you truly believe in the ideas of others when you do not believe in your own?
Ideas originate from deep inside an individual’s soul and these ideas flourish when the faith of the one it is originated from connects with it and promotes it. If an idea is to survive we must maintain integrity in our expression of the idea because an idea cannot be greater than the person we are inside. A false Idea cannot live outside of the heart of the one who created it and it will not exist in the heart of another especially when the idea is presented in a manner that changes its true purpose to impress others or create a reaction from others. In order for an idea to live it must remain a part of the heart and mind of its creator.
“An Idea does not live because it looks good and sounds good. It lives because it meets a need and serves a purpose. When it works, it lives.”
So it’s not a matter of whether you have a good idea. All ideas in their purest form are good. The question is does the idea live. I submit to you if you are true to your ideas and you believe in them you will not quit, you will not give up, therefore; your ideas will work if the one who created it ensures it has life.
I recall as a young child being very creative. I enjoyed making up stories, creating characters, plots, and sub plots. I would spend hours in my room lost in an imaginary world where ideas flowed like a river. I was very proud of my stories and I would narrate the stories on a tape recorder.
One summer day there were several family members at my house. For some reason my mother got a hold to my tape recorder and played one of my stories for everyone. I don’t know if she was proud of what I was doing or she felt I was wasting too much time alone producing these stories.
At any rate as the story played everyone laughed. I can’t begin to explain the shame, anger, hurt and frustration I felt that day. This passionate idea I had was very important to me and what I created was an extension of me. I felt personally attacked by this experience and throughout my life when I had ideas I experienced these feeling more intensely. As a result I suppressed my creativity and began to do just enough to get by in life. I developed a habit of underachievement. Although I was very talented in many areas I never pursued my full potential because I did not want to experience the torment of failure and the pain of being ridiculed for trying to achieve something great. I felt that my effort would be viewed as a mere joke and I never told stories or shared my ideas for many, many years.
Recently I was reconnected with my love of creativity and I rediscovered the importance of ideas which resulted in the creation of haroldtee.com. A place where every individual’s ideas are embraced and supported to bring those ideas to life. I meet people every day with ideas about their present and future life both good and bad. I often wonder why people are so unhappy and dissatisfied with their church, marriages, careers and financial status etc. I wonder if they embraced and believed in their ideas would they be better servants, better spouses, have their own businesses and enjoying a better financial status. I wonder if they would just be happier.
I am extremely excited about this company. It will help to inspire, motivate, educate and generate revenue for hundreds of individuals across the country. Our goal is to assist idea guy’s (self starters, entrepreneurs, dreamers and visionaries by providing support to help their ideas become a reality.
Now I am not a guru or some heavy hitter making ungodly amounts of money. I am an ordinary person dedicated to helping people just like me achieve success. I am living my dream of spiritual and financial freedom through inner truth and business ownership. Don’t mistake this for material riches think of it as a prosperous way of living that is giving me more fulfillment than financial independence ever could. I am not an internet millionaire. I work hard every day at what I love and I focus on what I want and I do what I am passionate about. This to me is wealth not necessarily in money but in principle. I want to help you become an idea person and make money. I know together we can make money, enjoy success, more control over our lives and one day, maybe this year financial independence.
